The Third pyramid
Introduction about king Mn.K3w.Ra :
King Mn.K3w.Ra was the son of king Kha.F.Ra and the last king in the 4th dynasty, his pyramid is the smallest in size between all the groub .
الملك منكورع هو ابن الملك خفرع وآخر ملك في الأسرة الرابعة , يعتبر هرمه هو أصغر هرم في الحجم بين المجموعة .
The valley temple :
The valley temple of king Mn.K3w.Ra is sitiuated near the city of Nazlet El-Saman. This pyramid built of mud brick with columns and pavement made out of lime stone .
يقع معبد الوادي للملك منكورع بجانب بلدة نزلة السمان . بني هذا الهرم من الطوب اللبن بينما الأعمده والأرضية مصنوعه من الحجر الجيري .
The mortuary temple :
The plane of the temple is started by a corridor bilt of mud brick and covered with lime stone, the corridor leads to a large centeral court at the western side of which there was a hall with 6 columns made out of red granite behind a narrow chamber used as a sanctuary .
تبدأ خريطة المعبد بممر طويل مبني من الطوب اللبن ومغطي بطبقة من الحجر الجيري , يؤدي هذا الممر الى فناء أوسط كبير في الناحيه الغربية منه يوجد صاله سقفها مثبت على 6 أعمده مصنوعه من الجرانيت الأحمر بجانبها يوجد حجرة صغيرة تستخدم كمقصورة .
The pyramid :
The pyramid of king Mn.K3w.Ra built by local lime stone and covered by granite. Its about 66m high and 108.5m wide. The enterance of the pyramid is in the northern façade about 4m above the ground leads to a passage about 31m long at the end of which is the burial chamber .
بني هرم منكورع من الحجر الجيري المحلي مغطي بطبقة من الجرانيت يبلغ طوله حوالي 66 متر وعرضه حوالي 108.5 متر . يوجد مدخل الهرم في الواجهه الشماليه حوالي 4 متر فوق سطح الأرض يؤدي الى ممر طوله حوالي 31 متر تؤدي في نهايته الى حجرة الدفن .
Inside the burial chamber we found a wooden coffin upon which we can read som hieroglyphic inscriptions read as :
( Oziris king of upper and lower Egypt )
( Mn.K3w.Ra living for ever )
وجد بداخل حجرة الدفن تابوت خشبي محفور عليه بعض النصوص المصرية القديمة تقرأ كآلاتي :
( الاله أوزوريس ملك مصر العليا والسفلي )
( منكورع المخلد للابد )
